Rosie the raindrop

                   :Rosie the raindrop’s Roller-coaster ride:

One rainy day Rosie the raindrop fell out of a fluffy cloud down on the ground at the point where the river Thames starts. As Rosie travels down the river she passes objects she has never seen before like random stones, birds chirping so loudly that Rosie's ear drums are blown to smithereens. The heart wind from the storm is rattling the large wavy trees and seconds later a loud kaboom! A tree branch has fallen down and shattered an electric fence. Rosie is shakin out of her bones.

She is a little anxious about what will come next, the water is flowing down the river quietly, a bit too quiet Rosie exclaims.

Later that day Rosie hears splish, splash, splosh it gets louder and louder splash, splash, splosh as chucked up in the air by a kayak paddle and splashed back into the water but something seems different she can hear not only the kayaker but boats, cars and people?????

As Rosie heads for the surface her lungs are screaming for air. (Gasping) Rosie pauses for a moment, she looks around and she is in a whole new world. She swims around in circles uncontrollably, worried and stressed Rosie is panting louder and louder she is in shock, provision is vague flashing black and white images flicking through her head and like a click of a finger *click* everything goes black and very quiet. . . .

Later that day in a calming drift of water, Bright Lights awakened her more. Rosie dove down only to see rubbish, plastic and a disaster waiting to happen. Then all of a sudden a whistling noise travels from the right ear to the left. She looked over her back and saw a helpless dolphin stuck in a thick chained rope and wrapped around his body multiple times. The poor dolphin is bleeding. He has lots of scratches and bruises. As Rosie untangles the large chained rope the dolphin leaps out and swims around Rosie like a blur.

The sun is setting quickly and Rosie and her new friends set off to find her pod of dolphins.

This is my Rosie the raindrop story.

For the past couple of weeks my class and I have been working on a story.

We were given six different pictures about (te awa) The river.

We have to do it based on a raindrop named Rosie but we're supposed to write the story from our perspective or her's.

In the story we have to write that Rosie the raindrop is like a living person with human traits.
